$27.2m Jumeirah Beach upgrade

Dubai Municipality is spending $27.2m on upgrading Jumeirah Beach, a popular tourist spot in the city. The plan is to redevelop the public beach to make it safer for swimmers, improve public facilities, build an amphitheatre, food courts and beach bazaar, and increase parking areas. [AMEInfo.com]
