Iraq's Najaf Province has entered into a 10 year agreement with Dubai's World Strategic Initiatives Group and the Sahel Al Jazera Group to revamp and modernise Najaf International Airport. The renovation is likely to cost around $300m but flights will begin in a matter of months. Najaf, located near to Karbala, receives millions of pilgrims every year. [AMEInfo.com]
