Abra station re-opens

The upgraded abra station at the Dubai Old Souk opens today. The station has been given new pontoons to aid boarding and disembarking and a seating area for passengers. The municipality is also upgrading two other stations and constructing two further stations at a cost of about $5.5m. [AMEInfo.com]
