SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Airline stocks closed fractionally higher on Thursday as a report that air travel is rebounding helped offset another volatile session for crude oil prices. The Amex Airline Index ended up 0.1 percent to 46.3 while crude oil hit $57.60 a barrel before closing down .
