SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Led by a 9.4% decline in shares of Northwest Airlines , the Amex Airline Index lost 3% to 45.83 points on Monday. AMR Corp. fell 4.9% to $11.37 and was the most active stock in the group at 3.8 million shares.
