SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- AMR Corp. , American Airlines' parent, rose 7.8% to $12.08 on Tuesday as falling crude-oil prices lifted the entire Amex Airline Index . The index rose 4.7% to 47.87 points. Also sharply higher, Delta Air Lines jumped 6.5% to $3.75. This story was supplied by MarketWatch.
