SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) - Shares of Northwest Airlines and AirTran Holdings helped lift the airline sector's main index as oil prices tracked lower in the wake of Hurricane Dennis. The Amex Airline Index gained 1.8% to 48.88 points, an extension of last Friday's upward move.
