SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Airline stocks slipped Friday afternoon as the Amex Airline Index lost 0.8% to 51.13 points with Northwest Airlines down 3.4% to $4.83. Delta Air Lines fell 2.2% to $3.96 as the most active stock in the group with 5.9 million shares changing hands.
