SAN FRANCISCO (AFX) -- Airline stocks were led higher by AMR Corp. on Monday as the parent of American Airlines gained 3.6% to $14.03 with more than 1.8 million shares changing hands. The most active stock in the sector was Southwest Airlines , up 1.6% to $14.44 at more than 2.1 million shares.
