Airbus orders fall behind Boeing

Airbus orders are currently running at about 20-25% compared to Boeing, chief commercial officer John Leahy told the BBC. The European aircraft maker is still confident it will deliver more planes than its rival by the end of 2006. But reports on Wednesday estimated Airbus had orders of 145 to 150 aircraft for H1 2006, compared with around 450 at Boeing. [AMEInfo.com]
