Airline blames N.M. losses for shutdown in Nebraska (Omaha World-Herald)

Westward Airways' failing New Mexico service essentially shut the airline down for good, company officials said Wednesday. Westward's "River Run" linked Scottsbluff, North Platte, Lincoln and Omaha with four flights every weekday. It averaged four to five passengers per flight.
