Airline closure strands travelers (Freeport Journal)

FREEPORT - The rumors began Thursday night, the first time Rockford Airport Executive Director Bob O'Brien heard there was a chance that TransMeridian, the Georgia-based airline that resurrected passenger service to Rockford two years ago, was shutting down and declaring bankruptcy.
