Alafco buys GE-powered aircraft

Kuwait-based Aviation Lease and Finance Company is buying 12 Airbus A350 aircraft powered by General Electric's Genx engine. The engines are valued at more than $300m, according to a statement by GE. Delivery of the aircraft is scheduled to begin in 2012. [AMEInfo.com]
