Emirates Express, the joint public transport venture of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi municipalities, has started bus trips between the cities. The buses will leave every 45 minutes and cover the 150-km distance, traffic permitting, in two hours. The municipality wants to encourage more commuters to use buses to help reduce traffic.
