Aviation pioneer dies at age 89 (The Oklahoman)

Apr 30, 2005: Oklahoma aviation pioneer Eula Pearl Carter Scott, who at the age of 13 became one of the nation's youngest female pilots, has died in Marlow after a long illness, her son said. She was 89. Her love of flying began with her first plane ride in 1927. Her pilot that day was Oklahoma aviation legend Wiley Post.
