Britain-based carrier bmi, formerly British Midland Airways, will run three flights a week from London Heathrow to Riyadh. The service will partially replace the daily flight operated by British Airways which terminated the service at the end of March. The new route represents a departure for bmi, which is best known for low cost short-haul routes in Europe. [AMEInfo.com]
