Dubai's Burj Al Arab was named Middle East hotel of the year at the DEPA Middle East hotel awards. The One and Only Royal Mirage, Dubai won the award for best resort property while the InterContinental Phoenicia, Beirut was named best business hotel. The awards were presented at a ceremony at Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah attended by more than 750 people from the international hotel and tourism sector. [AMEInfo.com]
