Dedicated airline, power stations recommended for North East (Outlook India)

A dedicated airline for the North East and setting up of hydro-electric and gas-based power stations to harness the 32,000 MW potential of the region were among recommendations made today by the North Eastern Council, which unanimously approved an enhanced outlay of Rs 1,136 crore for its 2005-06 annual plan.
