Egypt tourism up

Tourist numbers in Egypt rose 6% in July 2005 compared to the same month last year, despite the deadly bomb attack in the Red Sea tourist city of Sharm el-Sheikh on 23 July, according to a Reuters report. Egypt relies on tourism as one its main sources of foreign currency. [AMEInfo.com]
