Emirates quiet on future deals

Emirates Airlines was non committal about a rumoured $8bn order for mid-sized planes from either Airbus or Boeing, at least until design specifications are altered, according to Reuters. Airbus' A350 and Boeing's B787 are going head to head for orders from international carriers. Emirates placed a $9.7bn order for the larger Boeing 777 aircraft at the Dubai air show, which ends today. [AMEInfo.com]
