European carriers under pressure

European airlines are pressuring Arab states to allow more competition in the Middle East's transportation sector, according to Arab Air Carriers Organisation secretary-general Abdul Wahab Teffaha. Speaking at the opening of the Global Airport Expansion Conference Teffaha said that the protest from European airlines comes after increased competition from Arab carriers on routes. [AMEInfo.com]
