GE agrees to acquire 1 bln usd of CIT aircraft assets (Sharewatch)

LONDON (AFX) -- The GE Commerical Finance division of General Electric Co. said it's agreed to acquire $1 billion in aircraft assets from CIT Group for undisclosed terms. The sale of a majority of the assets closed on June 30, with the balance to be transferred during the third quarter.
