GE Commercial Finance to acquire $1 billion in aircraft assets from CIT (Canadian Business)

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) - GE Commercial Finance, the business-to-business financial services unit of General Electric Co., said Wednesday that it agreed to acquire about $1 billion in aircraft assets from CIT Group Inc., a commercial and consumer finance company.
