WASHINGTON (Kyodo) The U.S. Navy is poised to replace the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk, forward-deployed to Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, with another conventionally powered carrier -- the USS John F. Kennedy, a navy official said Wednesday.
