FORT POLK-With retirement in the flight plan, Lt. Col. Alan D. Fessenden turned over command of the Joint Readiness Training Center Aviation Detachment to Lt. Col. Edward A. Williams in a June 1 ceremony at Hangar 4297, Polk Army Airfield.Fessenden became commander of the aviation detachment in September, 2003.
