Katrina Relief - Canada's Response: Canadian Forces Aircraft Transports Canadian Red Cross Personnel to Texas (U.S. Newswire via Yahoo! News)

At the request of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada (PSEPC), a Canadian Forces aircraft will depart 8 Wing/CFB Trenton at approximately 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, to transport 27 Red Cross personnel to Houston, Texas. The Red Cross personnel will then proceed to the area affected by Hurricane Katrina to render assistance.
