McNerney, new Boeing CEO

The Boeing Company board has elected W. James McNerney, Jr. chairman of the board, president and CEO, effective July 1. McNerney, 55, has served as chairman and CEO of 3M since January 2001 and previously held top executive positions at the General Electric Company.
