Text of report in English by Russian news agency Interfax-AVN website Moscow, 1 December: Military transport aviation pilots of the Russian air force have airlifted about 50,000 servicemen and their family members and over 15,000 tonnes of various cargoes this year, Col Aleksandr Drobyshevskiy, air force press service chief, said on Thursday [1 December].
