Safety body urges incentives for aircraft upgrades (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

The Aviation Safety Foundation of Australia claims that an ageing aviation fleet is compromising safety. A national aviation conference in Hobart has been told that more than 80 per cent of planes in Australia are almost 30-years-old.
