Saudi Arabian Airlines said it has carried more than 2.4m pilgrims during the Haj season that started in December. There were 12,544 scheduled and additional flights between the start of December until the beginning of this week. The airline expects to carry 3.6m passengers on 19,000 flights during 2005-6 Haj season. [AMEInfo.com]
