Sharjah International Airport has posted a 34 per cent increase in passenger numbers for 2004. There were 23,015 scheduled and 9,319 un-scheduled flight movements in the year, with the biggest increases in April, July and August reflecting the growth in year-round tourism. [AMEInfo.com]
