Sharjah passengers up 37%

Passenger traffic was up 37% at Sharjah airport in the first half of 2006, compared to the same period in 2005, according to Gulf News. A total of 1.4m passengers passed through compared to 1m in H1 2005. Flights increased 10% from 18,755 to 20,735. Cargo was up 16%. [AMEInfo.com]
