The UK has raised the cost of some visas for visitors by more than a third, although 10 year multiple entry visas are now priced the same as one-year multiple visas to encourage people to apply for longer visas. Last year the UK embassies in the UAE issued more than 60,000 visas. [AMEInfo.com]
