TOKYO - (KRT) - U.S. Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta suggested during a recent interview with The Yomiuri Shimbun that the Japan-U.S. agreement on civil aviation, last revised in 1998, needed to be amended to further liberalize the market in line with drastic changes in the industry over the past seven years.
