MAYPORT -- As federal lawmakers from Florida push to maintain Naval Station Mayport's status as an aircraft carrier homeport, colleagues from Virginia appear to be pushing back against a suggestion that the Navy move one of the five nuclear-powered carriers stationed in Norfolk, Va., to Mayport.
