Airlines, cost sharing inevitable

Middle East airlines will rationalise operations and share back-room costs within the next five to 10 years, according to Gulf Air President James Hogan. Hogan told delegates at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference that airlines would come together to take some of the cost out of the industry and improve the bottom line, as seen in Europe and America.
