Irish no-frills airline Ryanair saw a rise in passenger numbers for April. There was a 24% rise on last April, to 2.7m. The carrier said in a statement its passenger load factor - a measure of how many seats it has filled on its planes - was 8!%, slightly down on the 82% of last year.
