Qatar Airways fleet expansion

Qatar Airways will operate a fleet of 110 to 120 aircraft by 2012-13, and will soon begin taking delivery of the first of 34 new Airbus aircraft under the terms of a $1.5bn agreement. The airline is also in talks with both Boeing and Airbus regarding further purchases of the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350 aircraft, CEO Akbar al Baker told a news conference in Dubai. [AMEInfo.com]
