Qatar, Germany rail study

Qatar and Germany will run a feasibility study into a magnetic-levitation railway in the Gulf. German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has backed the locally-built Transrapid high-speed network, a joint venture between German companies Thyssen-Krupp and Siemens.
