U.S. prods Japan on aviation accord (Daily Yomiuri Online)

U.S. Transport Secretary Norman Mineta suggested during a recent interview with The Yomiuri Shimbun that the Japan-U.S. agreement on civil aviation, last revised in 1998, needed to be amended to further liberalize the market in line with drastic changes in the industry over the past seven years.
