Aviation body urges crime background checks on Narita airport staff (Kyodo via Yahoo! Asia News)

_ The International Civil Aviation Organization has recommended the Japanese transport ministry conduct crime background checks on workers given access to restricted areas at Narita airport, Japan's largest international gateway, ministry officials said Thursday.
