Freight rate hikes in war zone

Shipping firms operating in the Middle East might hike freight rates from between 33%-63% for journeys near Lebanon if the conflict persists, Arab News reported. It would send prices for a 20-foot container from $550 to $900; and for a 40-foot container from $900 to $1,200. [AMEInfo.com]
