Sharjah gets new taxi service

Dubai-based holding group Al Yousuf has started a taxi franchise in Sharjah, Advantage Taxi, which will be the emirate's fourth taxi operator. Advantage will operate a fleet of 850 vehicles, a mix of Chevrolet Epica sedans and Uplander family vans. The company says it will put drivers, all of whom will speak English, through a 20-day training program. [AMEInfo.com]
