Gulf Air's new two hub strategy has had a positive effect on passenger numbers at Bahrain International Airport. A total of 2.2m passengers utilised BIA in H1, an increase of 32.3% on the same period last year. Gulf Air presently accounts for around 70% of activity at BIA. [AMEInfo.com]
