Qatar Airways offers satellite TV

Qatar Airways is now broadcasting live digital satellite TV on five of its A330 long-haul aircraft, making it the first international airline to offer the service, according to The Peninsula. By the end of 2006, the carrier will have the Rockwell Collins Tailwind 560 satellite TV system fitted to individual seatback units in 14 aircraft, including its new Airbus A340-600 which enters service this month.
